O2 Martial Arts Academy, a staple in Aiea for over 30 years, offers a welcoming community for youth martial arts. As the world's first Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu association school, the academy's kids classes are proudly led by 7th-degree black belts Chris and Mike Onzuka. ### Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu **Ages:** 6 to 15 years old This program prioritizes practical self-defense, ethics, and character-building in a fun, challenging environment. While deeply focused on personal growth and responsible citizenship, students also see great success in local and national tournaments. ### O2 Rhino Wrestling Club **Ages:** 4 years old to High School A nearly year-round program known for producing champions through highly positive coaching. Grapplers learn the "Rhino" mentality—building resilience and discipline—while embracing the club's core motto: *win with humility and lose with dignity*. ### Boxing & Kickboxing **Ages:** Youth welcome (Integrated with adult classes) Led by champion instructors PJ Dean and Justin Dulay, kids learn the sweet science of striking and the art of "hitting without being hit." Youth excel in this safe, supportive setting, building immense confidence and even capturing local titles. ### Kali-Escrima (Filipino Stickfighting) **Ages:** Contact for youth suitability Taught by Maestro Ian Beltran, this class introduces practical self-defense using rattan sticks and empty-hand techniques in an extremely safe, controlled environment. The movements perfectly complement ground training like Jiu-Jitsu. **The first class is completely free!**
