Founded in 1993, the club is a member of the Na Ohana O Na Hui Waa association and focuses on perpetuating the traditions of Hawaiian canoe racing. The coaching staff balances competitive regatta training with open recreational paddling, teaching essential water safety, structural stroke mechanics, and team sync. In addition to athletic development on the water, the organization functions as a strong community steward, regularly partnering with local environmental initiatives like the Genki Ala Wai Project to help care for and preserve their home waterway. ### Program Highlights * **Divisions Served:** Offers structured outrigger canoe padding programs for both youth (keiki) age brackets and adult lines. * **Format & Schedule:** Features specialized pathways for both Competitive Paddling circuits and a more flexible Recreational Paddling track. * **Practice Details:** Standard recreational and team training sessions typically run on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons starting at 5:30 PM.
