Founded in 1952 by Joseph "Stew" Kalama and Max Kamaiopili, Kai Oni Canoe & Athletic Club is a historic 501(c)(3) non-profit organization rooted in the Windward Oahu community. Operating out of Kailua Beach, the organization is dedicated to preserving and perpetuating Hawaiian culture through traditional ocean watersports, education, and competitive amateur sports.
