Founded in 2022 by Coach Will and Lisa, HI IQ Sports operates organized youth and adult basketball leagues and tournament circuits on Oahu. The academy focuses entirely on creating structured, competitive platforms that help players develop a high basketball IQ, structural court awareness, and refined mechanical skills. Running multi-week seasonal leagues year-round alongside major holiday tournaments, the organization provides clear division sorting to match teams by specific grade levels and skill tiers. The program functions as a centralized competitive hub for local club teams and standalone rosters, emphasizing good sportsmanship, discipline, and active community participation. ### Program Highlights * **Age Groups:** Serves youth athletes across graded divisions starting from 3rd and 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th and 8th grade blocks, up through Junior Varsity and Varsity divisions, alongside dedicated senior adult lines. * **Leagues & Format:** Conducts year-round multi-week competitive seasons including specialized New Year, Spring, Summer, and Winter basketball leagues configured into Bronze, Silver, and Gold skill brackets. * **Tournaments:** Organizes signature regional events including the annual Labor Day, Veteran's Day, and Summer Tournaments featuring open, purebred, and age-restricted divisions.
