Operating out of the Mililani Mauka community, the Hawaiian Kajukenbo Association delivers structured martial arts instruction focused on realistic, multi-disciplinary self-defense. The program teaches the traditional Kenpo-Karate branch of Kajukenbo—a hybrid system developed in Hawaii in 1947 that systematically integrates the striking of Karate, the throwing and joint locks of Judo and Jujitsu, the rapid hand mechanics of Kenpo, and the footwork of Boxing.
