## 🌺 Hawaii Triple Crown: Honolulu Fall Open 2026 We’re so excited to welcome our jiu-jitsu ohana back for another great tournament! Whether you’re stepping onto the mats to compete or coming out to cheer on your teammates, here is everything you need to know for a safe, fun, and competitive day. See you on the mat! 👊 ### 📍 The Essentials * **Date:** Saturday, October 3, 2026 * **Location:** Mililani High School (95-1200 Meheula Pkwy, Mililani, HI 96789) * **Doors Open:** 8:30 AM (for check-in and weigh-ins) * **First Matches:** 10:00 AM * *Note: Please be checked in and ready to go at least 1 hour before your scheduled match.* ### 🗓️ Registration & Deadlines To help our team organize a smooth event, **we do not accept day-of registrations for kids or adults.** Please claim your spot early! * **Special** (by Sunday, Aug 16): Adults $49 | Kids $49 * **Early Bird** (by Sunday, Sep 20): Adults $90 | Kids $70 * **Normal** (by Sunday, Sep 27): Adults $100 | Kids $80 * **Late** (by Wednesday, Sep 30): Adults $110 | Kids $90 **Helpful Registration Tips:** * **Extra Divisions:** Want to compete more? Add another division for just $20. * **T-Shirts:** Event shirts are $12, but you must order before the Early Bird deadline! * **Credits:** We do not issue refunds, but we are happy to issue credit for a future HFBJJ event as long as you request it before registration closes. You can also edit your weight division anytime before registration closes if your bracket is empty. ### ⚖️ Weigh-Ins & Rules We want to keep the competition safe and fair for our whole community. * **Weigh-Ins:** You will weigh in **without your Gi** prior to your first match. You only get one opportunity to make weight, and if you miss it, you will be disqualified. Please ensure you are in the correct division, as we cannot make changes on tournament day! * **Schedule:** Kids weigh in first. Adults can weigh in once all kids are finished, or starting at 9:30 AM. * **Format:** Gi and No-Gi Single Elimination for all belt levels and open weights. *(Exception: Kids Gi brackets with only 2 competitors will run Best-out-of-3).* * **Check-In:** Adult competitors, please bring a valid photo ID to show officials before your match. ### 🏆 Prizes, Purses & Team Awards Let's celebrate your hard work! Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (please wear your Gi on the podium to receive your medal). **Cash Purses** *(Requires 6+ competitors in the bracket)* * **Male Blue Belt Open:** $200 * **Female Blue Belt Open:** $200 * **Male No-Gi Open Advance:** $500 * **Kids:** 16 Crowns 👑 **Team Awards:** At the end of the day, we will be awarding Team Trophies to the top 3 Academies based on overall points! *(Friendly reminder: please register under your main training location to keep scoring fair).* ### 🎟️ Spectators & Coaches Corner We warmly encourage family and friends to come fill the stands and support the athletes! * **Adults:** $12 * **Kids (6–10):** $6 * **Keiki (Under 5):** Free **Coaches:** To prevent overcrowding and keep the mat area safe, we provide one coach wristband per every four competitors from the same academy. Only registered coaches representing the whole team will be permitted inside the barricades (parents do not count as coaches). Additional coaches, friends, and family are welcome to cheer from just outside the barricades!
